large format

Here are two of my photos taken with 4 x 5 film using the large format camera. I enjoy working with the field camera and the overall result from it. The film developing process is a bit more tedious and time consuming than 35mm film. 

Now in Photo V I am working with the Holga. I am focusing on trees as my subject and the many different forms that they take. This bottom image of a "knobby tree" as I like to call it inspired me.

Today we went out and shot with the large format camera. It is definitely a new experience and fun to experiment with. For our first project we have to photograph a tall building and wall using the shifts and tilts of the camera. I am just hoping my film turns out the way I want it to!
